Locating Outlook information

I want to start a fresh installation of Windows XP Pro on my desk top, and I want to backup all my address book, and other outlook information.
I'm currently running Office XP.
When I used Office 2000, all this info was stored in a file, called Outlook.pst.
My question is this: Where does Office XP store all this info, what is the name of the file, and more or less where is it located?
I looked for a Outlook.pst file, but couldn't find any.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

Hi.
I didn't know that you could just find the outlook files and copy them. The right way of doing it is file import-export.
I don't remember exactly how to do it but i think it's easy. I didn't do it for long time.
I hope i was useful

Let me try to explain it in another way:
I want the entire outlook backup file to be stored on my other hard drive, and reinstall Windows XP on my C drive, of course installing Office XP again, after which of course, I want to import the outlook file back into Microsoft Outlook, also making sure that nun of my contacts/address book info is lost.
I need to reinstall Windows on my desk top since some of it's files seem to be corrupted, and it's sometimes acting weird.

With import-export in the file menu from outlook you can export any folder you want inbox, contacts etc. When i was at college and i had a lot of contacts in my addressbook i exported my contacts and when i got my laptop i imported them on it and it worked.
